You bought a Japanese knife.
Now what?
No local expert
There are no craftsmen in your country who truly understand the geometry and steel of a Japanese blade.
Too delicate to DIY
Sharpening a Japanese knife requires specialised whetstones, the correct angle, and years of practice. A small mistake ruins the blade.
Generic sharpening damages it
Standard sharpening services use electric grinders designed for Western knives. They destroy the thin asymmetric edge of Japanese steel.
The Process
Simple. Seamless. Exceptional.

The Craftsmen
Every knife is

The Process
From dull to razor sharp,
step by step.
Each knife follows a four-stage restoration — no shortcuts, no machines.
Every blade is examined under light to read its edge, bevel angle, and any damage before work begins.
Initial edge repair on a natural coarse stone — rebuilding the geometry from the base of the bevel.
Progressive polishing through medium and fine stones, removing scratches and tightening the edge.
Final stropping and inspection. The blade is returned hair-shaving sharp, exactly as it left the forge.
